Hi, everyone! How was your weekend? We spent our weekend resting, relaxing and getting inspired for more DIY projects! For this edition of simple and hassle-free DIY tutorials, we transformed a pair of cheap slippers into a fun fashion statement! Here are the materials you'll need for this DIY:

1. Slippers
2. Pom Poms
3. Hot glue gun
4. Needle and thread (optional)
5. Scissors (optional)

We used a pair of slippers with two nice, wide straps, to make gluing down the pom poms easier. The first thing you'll need to do is figure out a design or colour scheme to place your pom poms in.

After you're happy with the placement of your pom poms, it's time to glue them down. We found that putting the glue directly onto the band of the slippers and then firmly placing the pom pom on top of the glue was the easiest method. Hold the pom pom in place for a few seconds before moving on to the next pom pom, to make sure the glue is completely dry. You don't want your pom poms coming undone and rolling away!

After you've glued all your pom poms down, you can choose to leave them like this, or sew them down with a needle and thread to make them even more secure. We opted to skip this step, since the glue seemed to be holding the pom poms in place quite securely! Here are some pictures of the finished product:
