Fridays in love

Sometimes we rely too much on dark colors to get us through the days, because contrary to what adults tell us, the dark is safe, therefore we sleep in the dark not the bright. But it has been internationally noted that the color of the season of change is yellow, and I, for one, am going to rid myself of the blacks and get infected by the yellow fever… it’s time for a cleaner future.

Fridays in love

One shoe style, two outfits. It’s like carpooling, but with feet. Okay, that made more sense in my head, but whatever…. Today I’m lusting after a pair of Giuseppe Zanotti calfskin sandals with gold colored opaque metal. They’d soften up the first look that consists of a Humanoid shirt blouse, Mulberry Polly Pushlock shorts, and a Topshop coral leather purse. On the opposite end, they’d really bring a casual feel to a soft Rag and Bone Verona draped dress matched with a Forever21 necklace and a pyramid metal tip clutch from Asos.

One pair of shoes from day to party night. I’m so glad it’s finally Friday!

Are you guys sick of me yet? No? Good, ‘coz I’ve been screen (ahahhaa) shopping for chevron clothing! I’m not one of those people who can carry an entire body filled with patterns… not sure if anyone could actually… so I found an ensemble ideal for a downplayed chevron obsession. Okay fine you can’t really wear the scalloped brief out but hey, I’m not calling it an ideal ensemble for nothing! Wish they came in shorts… *diy ding ding ding*

Fridays in love

The way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. The way to a woman’s heart? – heart shaped french toasts smothered in chocolate and strawberries. If you’re looking to make a meal worthy of sweet Robin Thicke-esque love and affection, then GCS’ heart shaped grilled cheese sandwich is the way to go.

Stacking at its finest, this is one awesome recipe that’ll bring romance from dining table to bedside fun. Hell, I’d salivate all over the person who’d make me this AND lick my drool off of him (along with some of that Nutella, mmmm). And like I always say, love is never cheesy when it’s this easy. Fridays in love

Loving this season’s stark contrast in colors. Among the many on my wishlist is Milly’s color blocked textured cotton dress, Fendi yellow suede and leather slingbacks, and Rachel Leigh gold with resin stone gumball ring.

We’re celebrating this impromptu Friday holiday with a tinge of disbelief – sure, we’re pleased with the New Year’s eve holiday, but should employers really have to pay double for a day proclaimed free for all when this day is nothing but a foolish victory of a really bad footie game? We think not, but that’s just us… we love our employers that much :)
