An ideal bag for me should ber versatile as well use user friendly in the sense you can get your stuff without getting stuck in some ways like having diffculties opening the zip and so on.
I love bags with lotsa compartments as it sperates my things and I can even tell the person where to get or find it.
gin & jacqie bags are really stress free bags and I would love to win one for BF as he does not believe than Women Bags are better to travel with.

To me, a bag simply has to be big enough to fit in my sketchbook and a Moleskine or two. It must also be prepared to accompany me on many adventures-be it a boring bus ride or a trip to the other side of the world! I think the most important factor of all (apart from design of course) is practicality and hardiness. I would love a bag that lasts through rain or shine, and is always prepped for a good journey. And as it weathers and ages slowly, it’s as if your bag has gone on a trip with you as well! Like a friend who sticks closely by, we’re just about ready to leave the house and take on the world, side by side.

My ideal bag also must have my i-phone, my earphones, my wallet, my reusable shopping bag, nicely placed in its own compartment & easily reached whenever i need them

I carry so much things in my bag from cosmetics, diary to water bottle. My ideal bag must be comfortable, light weight with colour that suit most occassion. (Therefore, I ended with lot of black bags in various sizes)
I like bag with lots of pockets or zips which help me to organise my stuffs nicely. It need not be a leather material (because no one should wear animal on their body) or feature as a top pick in the posh fashion magazine but it must be a bag for a worthy investment.

What do you look for in the ideal bag?
I don’t travel light. I carry at least 3 bags at one time and most of the time all those 3 bags are filled to the brim. What’s in those bags? My stuffs – purse, handphone, camera, makeups, my anti-boredom kit (yarn & crochet hooks, reading materials, ipod). My baby & toddler’s stuffs – spare clothes, handkerchieves, diapers, baby wipes, toilleteries, milk powder, flasks, water bottle, snacks, my boys’ anti-boredom kit (Ultraman, Legos, baby books, teething toy). My laptop bag. Not taking into consideration bag in the bag… And all these are not light. Carrying all these and handling my boys can burn lots of calories. My husband shakes his head whenever he saw me done with my packing.
My ideal bag must be lightweight but sturdy to withstand the torture & weight. It must also look pretty or handsome. It must function like Doraemon’s magic front pocket – it contains all I ever need for the trip.
What must last as long as the strong & pretty/handsome bag’s life itself?
- the handle
- the strap connections
- zipper, buttons or snap buttons & velcro
Oh! Baby bags that can be attached securely to the stroller would be nice. Small drawstring bags to keep the toys organized and secure. Transparent leakproof bag to put toilleteries that can pass the immigration at the airport (I know there’s ziploc bags for this but I want a functional & lasting bag in the bag).
I aspire to travel light, so pouch, smaller bags and bag in bags will help me a lot..
Just last month a male colleague asked, what’s with women and bags in the bag? Well, we just love bags, especially tough & pretty bags that serves its purpose…

An ideal bag for me (and I believe many other women) would have to be one that is practical and stylish. It has to be tough enough to withstand all the pressure of being taken absolutely everywhere, on buses and trains and cars and planes, and at the same time it has to be easy to clean just in case something awful happens, like spilled perfume, a leaky water bottle or a child practicing his art skills with marker pens.
That said, spills can be easily prevented if the bag has lots of convenient pockets and compartments. G&J helps in this department, with the most genius invention to ever hit the bag world – their line of bag organizers! Even men love bag organizers – it makes it easier for them to look for something when their wife/girlfriend has her hands full and needs some help (“Honey, would you mind passing me my lipgloss?” So easy with an organizer!). So yes, in the absence of pockets or compartments, my ideal bag would have a G&J organizer.
Lastly, a bag should ooze heaps of style. It has to have the perfect balance of being eye-catching enough to be noticeable, but not so loud as too look like you’re actually screaming for attention. After all, it’s an essential accessory – it can pull together an outfit, whether it’s a pair of jeans and a cute tee to hang out with the girls, or a sexy dress on date night. An ideal bag is a girl’s best friend!

When i look for my ideal bag, i would consider..
1. Material – must be of good quality so that it can carry the rubbish i put in my bag. Hardy enough so that i can smack any perverts that come my way ;p
2. Size – definitely not too big or too small.
3. Design & colour – has to be attractive so that the other girls can oggle at it
4. Compartments – enough to separate the essentials eg. handphone, purse, keys, make up…. But not too many that everything just gets lost in there!
5. Price – not too expensive that id have to save months on

I have been eyeing Jin & Jackie Blog Giveaway since Day 1. Nope, I did not join the contest on Day 1, 2 and 3 because I am patiently waiting for my ideal bag to appear. Patience is virtue. At last, today I spotted Sleek Joanne in Polka Dot Black. Yes! this is my ideal bag. I love to stay connected with all my friends whenever I could online and I am always on the move due to the nature of my job. So, I carry my baby laptop wherever I go. Ideally i just need to carry 1 bag only. I need a laptop bag that is light, colorful and sleek which I can carry my baby laptop, blackberry, wallet, keys, notepad, pen and some small items. Plus, Sleek Joanne bag size is perfect, it is compact and save space. There are compartment for handphone, pen, notepad and other small miscellaneous items so organized. I am cheerful, trendy and interesting so black laptop bag not appealing to me. I need more color and passion in my life and I love attention and complements. This colorful polka dots and eye catchy Sleek Joanne in Polka Dot Black not only it is functional, practical and ideal for me, it also helps me to attain attention too. That is so cool!

A bag that can take me from night to day; work to play~
It doesn’t have to be of any fancy high-street brand; or cost so much I’ll have to skip a few meals just to get it..
All i need is a bag that can fit all my necessities, ie. lipgloss, my phone, a small note book and some snacks(!) for my sudden cravings!

As a rookie mom, I’m obsessed with diaper bags, but I’ll go for those who don’t look like one at all because they make mommyhood look fashionable!
My ideal ‘mommy bag’ are the ones made from durable materials with bold designs or understated patterns; easy to clean, match most of my daily clothes and have enough space on the inside & cute compartments on the outside to tote my regular essentials, which includes a Macbook, diapers, a praying attire & some make-up.
Most of all, my ideal bag should not be something that costs more than I’m willing to pay for. G&J is homegrown. Despite my other love for American designer bags, I’ll gladly wear any aspiring Malaysian brand/product that’s making waves in the local & international scene! As a guy, I don’t have so much thing to carry, my requirement for a bag is very simple, as long as the design is simple and nice, do not attract others attention so I am safe, not being target by robber. I don’t want to be a robbery victim and appear in the news paper.
Also,not too big but not too small so that I can put my documents inside and easy carry.
Gin & Jacqie bag totally meet my requirement. And it really exceed my expectation with many compartment. Well done G & J!

My ideal bag would be one that is easy to carry and could occupied all my stuff in one go. I don’t like to carry a lot of bags when I hang out. The bag has to be practical and stylish, just like Gin & Jacqie. Ohya, last but not least, the bag should be made from good material that last long. ^^

I love big bags – for practicality! I carry loads of things in my bag so it needs to be big, spacious with lots of compartments for my make-up bag, hand phone, sometimes sandals (I’m a sandals girl but work doesn’t allow me to wear them – so i wear shoes but keep sandals in my bag), water bottle, notebook, snacks, drink sachets etc..
I’m always rummaging through my bag an in the worse moments, when my phone rings, I’m frantically searching for it. So if bags have loads of compartments, It would be easy to find my phone, pen (at airports especially to fill up boarding pass), lip gloss (for moments where you are in a lift with a cute guy)
A perfect bag would be also one that doubles up or shrinks (with buttons) I can use a smaller one for events and a bigger looking one (once it’s unbuttoned) for work and travel.
