Just some visuals of our weekend trip to Singapore. There was a design inspiration in every little nook and cranny of every little lane and door that we came across along the floor, and we were plenty smitten by this little island of little ideas scattered into one big beautiful mess.

Christmas is coming *cue belly expansion* and most of you are racking your brain trying to score that ideal gift for that special someone. Since the whole photography hobby has taken over the world, La Sardinia is one of my personal picks for gift ideas. Not only are they great fun to snap with – standard features that come with most Lomos, 22mm wide-angle plastic lens with three different levels of flash intensity, and a set of gels – they’re also fun to look due to their obvious resemblance to your average sardine can. Design in a flash, and that’s what makes a great gift to me!

La Sardinia can be purchased at The Click Shop. Check out more super impressive and fun-filled cameras at their new outlet in Pavilion.

Blankets, throw rugs, and quilts are just some of the many affordable ways of bringing some color and life into your living space. Here are a few pieces I’d sincerely love to have strewn across my dauntingly boring couch.

Seriously, how cool is this robot wallpaper?!?!

Channeling black into my decorating mantra…. Ohm, black black, ohmmm.

How immensely remarkable are these digital works by DepotVisuals that traipses between the symbiotic stances of texture and technology, like the unspoken conversations of  unforbidden lovers.

In case you haven’t signed up for our newsletter (which you really should if you’d like updates on our latest stocks and crazy deals), you may not have heard that our latest iPad organizer is in!

Just like the rest of our handy organizers, this one plays the part of an addition to your handbag. It conveniently stores your iPad and other necessities in its slim and easily washable design, and it fits into most handbags for a clean and accessible storage within the comfy cosy realm of your favorite bag.

Check out this little darling of a helper in assorted colors *here*!

It’s good that I don’t have the many credit cards of a rich person, otherwise I would’ve bought myself my bub everything that SMALLable has to offer.

Today I struggled with a little creative block. So I took a walk around Publika at Solaris Dutamas, a new mall between Sri Hartamas and Mont Kiara. Sure, KL’s filled with malls aplenty, but none other promotes local creativity as much as Publika does. With doodles by local artists against floor borders, amazing glass rooftops that bring to light the bright of Malaysia’s weather, and our favorite eateries such as Wondermilk, Marmalade, and Plan B, not to mention Chatime, this place is an aesthetically pleasing juxtaposition of all that is good and local.

Here are some shots; let’s take an inspiring walk together :)

I  am smitten by the Society6 product gallery curated by Design Milk founder, Jaime Derringer, and can’t believe that such awe-inspiring art by these young designers come at such affordable prices, even to a measly Malaysian! The above three are my favorites, and I am now in the eager process of filtering it down to one for purchase. Yes, still a measly Malaysian ;)

Check out the rest of Design Milk’s recommended pieces here.
