The best part about Mondays at work is the wait to arrive home and into the arms of loved walls. How befitting are these lovely illustrations by Lisa Chow of Apt. 3305, just makes the Monday that much sweeter by comparison of a dowdy day to go by. Home is where the heart is :)

Halloween might be the most popular excuse for women to don a skimpy Devil’s outfit, the only time of the year where latex is an understatement of a gaudy piece of trashery. However, we feel that there’s more to this horrifying fashion trend than meets the eye…

We know you can’t teach an old dog new tricks, but you sure can improve an old lovable with a new print! Sneaking you guys a peek at the cute twist on our Organize Jacq… ^_^ This is just one design we’re revamping, we can’t reveal the new stocks just yet as they’re WIPs, but we’re sure to update frequently on sneak peeks!

Following up on our Halloween craze, here’s a little DIY project that will perk any Trick or Treater up – lolly ghosts! All you’ll need are some lollies, black/white fabric, black/white paint (opposite of your choice of fabric color), and some ribbon.

1. Draft a pattern piece of a circle for your lolly. If you’re using Chupa Chups like we did, we calculated an 8cm diameter and circumference. Fold the paper into half, and just draw a quarter of a circle. Open up fold when done.

2. Once you have your half a circle, fold your fabric into half and pin the pattern onto it. This will ensure you achieve a full circle when opened.

3. Wrap the fabric onto the lolly, and tie a ribbon around it. We found it easier to do so if you tied a rubber band loosely around the lolly first, then remove it when the ribbon is attached.

4. Use a contrasting paint to randomly paint the faces of your ghosts onto the tied lollies. Don’t worry about making them perfect; the more uneven your strokes, the cuter the faces. Let the lollies dry, and you’re done!

You could use these as treats, or add tags onto them for that quirky edible invite to a Halloween gathering. Best of all, this is a project fun for kids of all ages! Enjoy enjoy!

It’s another Monday appearing diligently to ruin your perfectly slow weekend, and what better way to express yourself than with Parliament of Owls’ Cranky Pressman coasters?

Each character is as adorable as their names and individual profiles portray them to be, but we sure are feeling an extra serving of Mr. Cranky… aren’t you? Happy Monday Blues!!!

… every single leather piece designed by students of Fungus Workshop, Hong Kong. Oh, how we wish we had a version of this lovely workshop here in KL!!

Loving these Moschino-inspired clutch cum sling bags found at OldBlossomBox! Sadly, they’re sold out, but we have dibs on the potential restockables. Check out the rest of the blog’s finds… and move fast, coz they sure do!

While some of you stalk us (okay fine, we’re tooting our own horn), we repay the favor by stalking you. And since we do it so often, we’re dedicating a segment of this blog to what we’d like to call Twitter Fritters. Because we love Twitter, and we loveeeeee banana fritters even more! So what do you get when you add the two together? – Our favorite Twitter picks of the week!

Today, we noticed that Rekhss, a GinJacqie Twitter follower, dabbles in a little creative spontaneity of her own. From tiny tiles to acrylics on canvases, she has a unique sense of compiling details into one image.

Quirky with a sense of innocence, you can grab a piece of Rekhss’ homemade art from her Etsy page, or follow her on Twitter.

Happy week ahead guys!!!

Halloween’s coming up, and we’re pretty darn excited! Sure, it’s not a very popular event in Asia, but there’s no stopping those doorbells from ringing and adorable kids from screaming a frantic “Trick or Treat!!” Ah, but we don’t believe in trickery, thus all we want to give (AND receive, of course!) are treats. To start off the Halloween rush, here are some of our favorite treats for the big day.

Crochet skeleton rings by DeweyDecimalCrafts, Tombstone cups and cookies recipe found at MyRecipe, Halloween OS Finder pillows from Throwboy, Halloween fabric treat buckets found at Smidget.

Keep checking in for more Halloween finds!!
